Founded in 1977

During the 38 years the KNLU Department of Slavic Philology has prepared more than 2600 teachers and interpreters from 55 countries all over the world. Nowadays the citizens from 21 countries of Asia, Europe and America study Russian and Ukrainian. Moreover, they also study one of the languages of the European Union (English/German).

The list of documents needed for enrollment to the Faculty of Slavic Philology of KNLU for the students who have graduated from the  Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens in Ukraine:

1. Representation-questionnaire of the established standard.
2. The original and the copy of Secondary school certificate (with grades/points) notary sealed and legalized by the Ukrainian diplomatic mission (Embassy or Consulate) of country where the student comes from.
3. High school certificate (if it’s available)
4. Birth certificate copy*
5. Passport copy*
7. 12 recent passport size photos (3,5x4,5).
*The documents must have a notary sealed translation into the Ukrainian language and be legalized by the Ukrainian diplomatic mission (Embassy or Consulate) of country where the student comes from.

The list of documents needed for those who come to Ukraine for the first time:

1.    Official invitation of the established standard in Ukraine.
2.    Representation-questionnaire of the established standard.
3.    National passport and its notary sealed and translated into Ukrainian copy.
4.    Birth certificate copy*
5.    Secondary school certificate*
6.    12 recent passport size photos (3,5x4,5)
*All the documents must have a notary sealed translation into the Ukrainian language and be legalized by the Ukrainian diplomatic mission (Embassy or Consulate) of country where the student comes from.

Fees:
Tuition fee for the I semester – 11 950 hryvnas (paid in Ukrainian currency).
Tuition fee for the II semester – 11 950  hryvnas (paid in Ukrainian currency).
Tuition fee for 2014/2015 academic year – 23 900 hryvnas (paid in Ukrainian currency).
